Some years back I think it might have been this office where a personal injury lawyer sent me to get checked out after a car accident. Ciclavia slightly East of Coldwater Canyon in Studio City (about a mile from the Sherman Oaks office). Streets were closed in Studio City, North Hollywood, and Toluca Lake. This event probably benefited all of the coffee shops and cafes.

There is nothing like spending all morning in the Van Nuys Building Permit Office and being told a drainage easement approved in 2005 and 2008, which is recorded on all maps, is insufficient because Public Works didn't build it. The inefficiency and expense in obtaining permits in the City of Los Angeles has well surpassed absurdity. The number of odd ball things required is also ridiculous. Reform is needed.
